Award-winning restaurant-bar, Tippling Club returns with another guest chef takeover; this time featuring an assortment of Italian dishes with unique and exotic flavours hailing from Bali, the Island of the Gods. Come 3 July 2019, Chef Maurizio Bombini, Chef-owner of Mauri Restaurant, Bali, Indonesia, will steer the reigns of Tippling Club’s kitchen.

Originating from Apulia region, in Southern Italy, Chef Maurizio learned his trade in the kitchen at his parents’ restaurant on the shores of the Adriatic Sea, where he began his culinary journey that has taken him from his home country Italy, to France, the USA, China, and Indonesia.

After four successful years heading Il Ristorante at Bulgari Resort Bali and another four overlooking the award-winning dining venues at the Ritz Carlton Reserve Mandapa in Ubud, Chef Maurizio decided it was time to fully express his culinary style. He joins forces with Luigi, an Italian restaurateur from Puglia, who owns Pizza Fabbrica in Canggu to set up MAURI restaurant.
