Wushu Fitness sessions will revolve around stretching, balancing and strengthening of the body as well as hand-body-and-leg coordination. Basic Wushu movements will be taught by certified Wushu instructors with the Singapore Wushu Dragon and Lion Dance Federation, and coaches from the National Registry of Coaches (NROC). Beginners are welcome!
A 60-minute fitness session will include activities such as:
- Warm up exercise and stretching (flexibility)
- Basic Wushu movements (basic stances)
- Hand and leg coordination (punching and kicking)
- Body posture, self-defense styles
- Cool down exercise
