The Singapore International Foundation presents the finale of the Young Social Entrepreneurs Programme 2016, “Pitching for Change”. Running for its seventh year, the final event on Friday, 21 October 2016, at Suntec Singapore Convention Centre, Level 3, will bring together 35 young social entrepreneurs from 15 teams around the region. Following eight months of journeying and mentorship, the teams will pitch to receive up to S$20,000 each to launch or scale up their social enterprises.
Open for the first time to public, the three pitch sessions will revolve around the themes Agriculture, Energy & Environment (10am), Livelihoods (12:45pm) and Youth (2:20pm), for all to find out more about these businesses and get inspired by ideas to create a better world.
In addition, the “Innovation for Social Good” discussion session at 4pm will see thought leaders coming together to share about harnessing technology and innovation to do good for society through social enterprises.
