Want to learn from an award-winning writer? Have you ever wanted to write a script but you have no idea where to start?

Then this workshop is exactly for you!

Join Sarah on a journey as she shares her experiences and learnings from the trade. Sarah has written for numerous international clients the likes of History Channel, Discovery, and CBC. Her debut short play, “Asleep & Him” won her first awards in Kuala Lumpur as part of the Short & Sweet Festival (Best Script, Best Creative Production, and Best Male Actor). Her first short film, “The Clinic”, also won awards on the international circuit (Fresh Voices 2015 Screenplay Quarter-finalist; Sydney Indie Film Festival 2015 Best Script Nomination; Canada Shorts 2015 Honourable Mention).

With her, come explore fundamental storytelling techniques from the best short films and plays from around the world. Students also have the chance to pitch their scripts to film or theatre industry professionals. This 8-week long workshop is designed to unlock your creative writing juices and teach you the ins and outs of writing compelling and successful short scripts.
