Event Details:
The Project Happy Feet Slipper Race is Singapore's only non-competitive walk. Since 2010, 100% of the funds raised have been channelled into various programmes by charities in Singapore and abroad.

This year, all ticket proceeds will be contributed to education and training programmes run by Beyond Social Services (Singapore) and This Life Cambodia (Cambodia).

Like before, Slipper Race 2016 is fully run by volunteers. This year, the 6th edition of the charity walk in Singapore is co-organised by Soule and SAFRA Punggol. It will be held at SAFRA Punggol on 10 December 2016, Saturday.

Why Slippers?
Can you imagine walking 3 to 6 kilometres almost every day - in slippers or bare feet - just to get to school or work?

This is the reality of underprivileged children in countries like Cambodia, and we would like to invite you to walk in their shoes.

By walking a similar distance in flip-flops, we hope to inspire Singaporeans to be part of a community-driven effort to empower education for the less privileged at home and overseas.

Beneficiaries
100% of the registration fees will be channelled into education programmes run by Beyond Social Services and This Life Cambodia.

Beyond Social Services (Singapore)
Beyond Social Services is dedicated to reducing delinquency among children and youth. The organisation serves the needs of less privileged families in Singapore and helps them to achieve greater social mobility through skills training and resources.

This Life Cambodia (Cambodia)
This Life Cambodia is a non-government community development organisation based in Siem Reap. The charity focuses on enhancing education for lower secondary school children and enabling self-sustainability through educational and training opportunities. This Life Cambodia has been a beneficiary of the Slipper Race since 2010.
