Executive Chef Mathew Leighton’s “Let’s have a Burger” depicts how stress is managed and responded to differently by individuals – through different experiences, preferences and cultures. In this open burger, the world Stress is written in bbq sauce between the buns and other ingredients represent choices that go into building the ultimate stress reliever, in the form of a burger. Once the burger is assembled, the bbq sauce signifying stress will be wiped out. Through this dish, he hopes to share that stress can be dealt with by breaking down the sources of stress and looking at the bigger picture.
