Chef Kirk was born and raised in the idyllic English seaside town of Devon, developing a penchant for clean flavours and fresh produce which he experienced growing up. His early exposure to fresh produce as well as his childhood palate of British comfort food are what embodies the latest instalment of the Michelin Guide Singapore Local Chef Showcase.
Kirk Westaway is the Chef de Cuisine of the one Michelin-starred restaurant, Jaan, known for its modern, artisanal French cuisine. In this showcase, Chef Kirk will be presenting a one-off menu, aptly named - Tastes of Childhood, a reinterpretation of classic English dishes in his modern French style, all the while using the freshest gourmet produce.
Fish and Chips, Bangers and Mash, experience new iterations of these timeless dishes in an unexpected and refreshing new way through Chef Kirk’s refined techniques and masterful artistry at Jaan.
