The NUH Eye Charity Art Exhibition, themed “Eyes See The World is part of the NUH Department of Ophthalmology’s 30th Anniversary celebrations. It is organised in collaboration with Yiqing Art Studio. All 57 art pieces are contributed by artists and students who wish to do their part to help the visually impaired. All proceeds will go to the Singapore Association for the Visually Handicapped and Guide Dogs Association of the Blind. Through the art exhibition, we hope to raise public awareness of the remarkable contributions these foundations have made towards the visually impaired in our society.
Dr Vivian Balakrishnan, Minister for Foreign Affairs, and alumnus of our Department of Ophthalmology, will grace the opening ceremony as the Guest-of-Honour at 10am. Following that, the exhibition will be open to the public from 11am to 7pm. For more information, visit http://www.nuheyecharityart.com/.
