Held in conjunction with the Treasures of the World from the British Museum exhibition

What happens when you stray after dark into the National Museum’s exhibition, Treasures of the World? Well, you might just meet Afonso, the curious Portuguese sailor who journeyed with Vasco da Gama in 1503 in search for the greatest treasure in the world. Join new and veteran actors as they take you on an imaginary passage through time, in which the audience plays a part in Afonso’s quest. Please note that there is no seating for this performance and the audience is required to be standing or moving during the play.
