The people living in our cities today with different skills, abilities and passion contribute to our natural, built and cultural environment. And these collective contributions shape the lifestyle and habits of our city dwellers, which begins to orchestrate the rhythm and pace of the way we live, work and play.

How a society function with different professionals and trades is just like a symphony orchestra that are consist of various kind of musician that plays a range of instruments, and they are orchestrated by a conductor that shapes the sound of the ensembles through the tempo, pace and rhythm to create inspiring melody & music pieces.

“ArKIDecture X Exhale” presents an Urban Symphony that aims to encourage parents and children to exercise their imagination to create their very own orchestra instruments inspired by the elements of our urban, cultural and natural environment.

Urban Symphony is a 2-hour workshop for children and parents to participate together as a form of hands on design interactive experience. The program will aim to inspire participants to experience crafting of forms, shapes and spaces to create their own musical instruments that are inspired by the pace, rhythm and tempo of Singapore City.

Age Group: 6-12 yrs old
Format: Team of 1 child plus 1 adult (2 pax per team)
