TEDxSingapore will be curating its 33rd and the largest TEDxSingapore event since it was founded in 2009.
'The Undiscovered Country' celebrates the rich diversity of ideas, talents and stories from Singapore’s past and present, and to explore and ask: What latent potential lie within us and in Singapore? What runs deep within you about our past and future?
TEDxSingapore 2015 features over 30 TED and TEDx speakers, talents, artists and musicians, and will be held over two days from the afternoon of Friday 6th to the evening of Saturday 7th November.
The event will feature Professor Hans Rosling, a data visionary and global health expert. As the most prolific and watched TED speaker in the history of TED, Rosling will be revealing his personal connection with Singapore in his TEDxSingapore Talk.
Another highlight is Tony Wheeler, travel writer and co-founder of The Lonely Planet. Tony will be sharing on the unique role that Singapore plays in the story of The Lonely Planet guidebook.
A 100% community-created event, TEDxSingapore represents a unique opportunity to groom a community which believes in ideas worth spreading, from Singapore to Singapore and the rest of the world.
The two-day event provides a platform for celebrating diversity and sharing inspired ideas that will spark connection, conversation and collaboration in our community. Live-viewing opportunities are also available.
