Kathak, one of the eight major Indian classical dances, has its origins in the northern parts of India. In Sanskrit, 'Katha' means a story, and 'Kathak' literally means a story teller!
Led by guru Bhupali Kulkarni, 'Kathak Pravaha' is an humble attempt to showcase various facets of traditional Kathak on the tunes of live tabla, harmonium, flute, sitar, and vocals.
